• Name	Sarah Jameson
  Birth	1728	Philadelphia, PA
  Gender	Female

  Person ID	I18	GBJ-Texas

Father	William Jameson,   b. c.1697, Ulster, Ireland d. Mar 1753, Augusta Co., VA (Age 56 years)
  Mother	Sarah ULN,   b. Abt 1701   d. Aft 1765 (Age 65 years)
  Marriage	1722	PA or VA
William Jameson and Sarah that settled in the Goshen, Rockbridge Co., VA area on the Big Calfpasture River may not be the same as the William Jameson that married Sarah Collins 28 Mar 1722 at Christ Church, Philadelphia, PA. The marriage information is given for a William Jameson, son of James Jameson (m. Janet) of Lancaster Co., PA in EO Jameson's Jamesons of America. However, YDNA testing has shown several descendants of William and Sarah of Rockbridge Co., VA do not YDNA match to known descendants of James Jameson (m. Janet) of Lancaster Co., PA. This leads us to believe that this William in VA is not the son of James & Janet. Another Jameson researcher in VA suggests that Sarah could've been a Hodge. Nothing proven, but a Samuel Hodge did help her with her husband's estate after his death.
